Juniors

At Christies Beach we are blessed with one of the most beautiful and accessible beaches SA has to offer, so we understand more than anybody why people just can’t wait to get their feet wet.

….. and it’s never too soon to learn skills and safety in a surf environment, right?

Welcome to Christies Beach NIPPERS
(Junior Surf Lifesaving)

Nippers range in age from 5 to 13 years and participate in age relevant, and fun aquatic activities.

It’s learning, (Sshhh don’t tell the kids!) all while you get to hang out on the beach in a safe and positive environment.

Nippers offers a fabulous opportunity to develop:

    • surf awareness and safety
    • participation and ability in beach and water activities
    • fitness, racing and competition skills
    • teamwork, friendships and community values

Surf Life Saving SA says it best when it says Nippers is “Serious Fun”. We tend to agree but we also think it’s serious fun for EVERYONE.

Nippers isn’t just about kids, it’s for the whole family, there’s nothing better than feeling the sand between your toes and knowing you’re a big part of this iconic Aussie community. Even if it’s helping set up some shade or getting equipment out or washing it down at the end of the day, you’re a part of what makes this great movement work.

We know by now you are pretty excited about getting into it, but before you slip, slop, slap and head down to meet us there’s some other information that’s quite important:
